From a need to a
Professional Service ready to consume.

Express your need, structure the PS Request, route it to validated expertise, see the applicable price upfront and move to kickoff with the lightest qualification path required.

Your need

Every Professional Service begins with a need. The objective is not to start a recruitment process or reserve a person for an arbitrary period, but to structure the work that needs to be done and move toward delivery as efficiently as possible.

Qualification adapts to the complexity of that need:

  • Guided self-service — structure a straightforward PS Request directly through the console.
  • AI-assisted — use natural, guided questions to clarify and complete a less explicit request.
  • Human pre-sales qualification — bring in the right expertise when the need requires deeper clarification before kickoff.

These paths combine the service, technology, location, timing and project management context needed to create a usable PS Request. Human pre-sales qualification is part of this commercial path and is not billed as an additional Professional Service.

Skills are not treated as purely declarative. Every catalog entry a consultant wants to publish is challenged through practical, service-specific scenarios before publication and is revalidated every six months. Existing vendor certifications remain separate professional credentials that can complement this validation.

Your PS Request

A demand is constructed through five simple but powerful questions.

WHAT?

The service and technological need.

WHERE?

The location.

HOW?

Project management and collaboration aspects.

WHEN?

The timeline and deadlines.

WHO?

The people involved.

Everything comes together in a guided 7-step request. Here's the journey:

Scope

For some domains, it adds further detail.

Technology

Cisco Catalyst 9500X, AWS S3, Fortinet X00F...

Location and language

Location and language define where and how the Professional Service can be delivered. For remote or hybrid delivery, the customer remains responsible for providing the consultant with the required secure access to its environment.

Working site

The physical location from which the consultant will deliver the PS Request.

Concerned site

The physical location where the Professional Service is required.

Language defines the communication requirements for the Professional Service.

Primary language

The main language used throughout the PS Request.

Secondary language

An additional language that can be required to deliver the PS Request.

Project Management

Project Management defines WHO drives the engagement and HOW collaboration happens. Choose the model that fits the Professional Service without adding management overhead that the engagement does not need.

Integrated

The customer leads project management with its own team.

Mirroring

A customer Project Manager and a youaretheboss Project Manager work together as counterparts.

Managed

A youaretheboss Project Manager leads project management for the engagement.

Pricing and consumption

The applicable hourly service price is configured by the platform for the Professional Service context and displayed upfront in the PS Request. Service, technology, seniority, location, working period and market signals can inform that configuration, but the customer does not bid or negotiate the displayed rate. The customer platform contribution is shown separately and transparently.

A Professional Service can contain one or more Tasks. As delivery progresses, the consultant records the work and time performed for each Task and submits it to the customer for validation in line with the deadlines defined in the PS Request. Approved Task consumption can then enter the billing cycle.

A PS Request can be paused and resumed when execution stops, so consumption follows the work actually being performed.

Kickoff

The kickoff aligns the customer and consultant on the PS Request, scope, working periods, expectations and ways of working. Skills Validation has already addressed the service-specific expertise; kickoff is where the human relationship and delivery context are confirmed before execution starts.
